Do you know that applying for your Tax Clearance Certificate is your right?
You do not need to pay anyone to apply for a Tax Clearance as long as you meet up with your tax payment you can also apply for your TCC online by following these simple steps:
Visit our website via this link birs.bo.gov.ng/tcc/
Select if you are applying as an Individual or NonIndividual.
Select the Tax Station.
Select the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Issuer.
Enter The TIN and Validate
If TIN is Valid a form will be presented, fill out the form, select your Tax Year then Proceed.
Enter your Total Income for each year, The tax deducted for the said year and the payment Reference Number (The number is on your e-receipt or payment receipt).
Upload your Passport Photograph.
Enter your Income Source.
Check the verification option and submit.
An application email will be sent to your email. Kindly check your inbox or spam box.
Once it is approved by BOIRS you will receive an email with the TCC download/print link/button. Click and print
